Additional Information:
We have been treating the piggies for mites for 3 months now and have not been able to get rid of the mites on the males. Butternut and Checkers are skittish and hide together most of the day in their cage. Grover is bold and friendly and runs the cage. None of them like to be picked up but once holding them they relax and are fine. These babies, along with 2 females, were unexpected babies from two young females I rescued from a farmer's barn. I am so sad to have to find them a new home, but I have 3 large cages plus a menagerie of other animals to take care of. Their C & C cage with a loft can go with them. I am looking for someone who will take on my darlings, give them a great home, treat their mites, and hold them. They are used to carrots, tomatoes, lettuce, and apples in the morning. They get a handful of grass and a pile of hay in the evening. I use chewable vitamin C (for people) as their source of vitamins and they eat them like candy. I would prefer these boys not used for breeding and I would love for them to stay together. They are completely bonded and have been together since 7 weeks old. Grover and Butternut are brothers and Checkers is their first cousin. Butternut is shy and gets along with both other piggies. Checkers and Grover are in a power struggle, but do not fight. They just rumble and squeak at each other. Please email if you would take on these three cuties!
